ANM and GNM Courses

Eligibility for Admission in ANM

  1. As per Merit List on the basis of written test & counselling conducted by the Institute.
  2. Criteria for admission is strictly as per guidelines of Bihar Nursing Registration Council and Directorate, Health Services, Govt. of Bihar.

Eligibility for Admission in ANM

  1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) Course is the 2-year certificate program.
  2. Higher Secondary / Intermediate pass from any recognized board.
  3. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission & Maximum age for admission is 35 years.

Eligibility for Admission in GNM

  1. General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course is a 3-year certificate program.
  2. 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
  3. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission & Maximum age for admission is 35 years.

B. Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing Courses

  1. As per the Joint Entrance Test & Counselling conducted by the affiliating university,Bihar University Of Health Sciences, Patna.
  2. Students willing to take admission have to give an option for this institute at the time of counselling to take admission.

Eligibility for Admission in B. Sc. Nursing

  1. B.Sc. Nursing Course is a 4-year program.
  2. Minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  3. 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board.

Eligibility for Admission in Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing

  1. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course is a 2-year program.
  2. Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with Science subjects.
  3. Candidate should be a Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.

Following documents are required at the time of admission:

  1. Proof of date of birth (Secondary School Certificate)
  2. Certificate and mark sheet of 10+2 or equivalent examination
  3. School Leaving Certificate (SLC) / Migration Certificate
  4. Aadhar Card of the student
  5. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) from competent authority
  6. Four colored passport size photographs
